Homemade halva

My kids love halva. Unfortunately now it is difficult to find one that does not contain unhealthy ingredients.

Meanwhile traditional halva is simply sesame and honey.

Soak in water for several hours 1 cup of sesame and ½ cup of sunflower seeds. Then rinse the seeds in a strainer. Mix the seeds in a blender. Add 4 – 5 tbsps of honey and 3 – 4 tbsps of coconut oil. The mass should be thick and sticky.

Leave the mass in the fridge for a few hours. Then shape small balls that can be surrounded by chocolate chips.
