Surfing on huge waves on Fuerteventura, I and my kids are looking for the local tapas specialities😊 As the result of our culinary research, we are preparing the Pimientos de Padron (small, green peppers) a wonderful snack served in every Canarian beach bar.
200 g of pimientos de padron
2-3 tbsps of the olive oil
Sweet red paprika powder (optionally)
Wash the peppers. Then, fry them with some oil a few minutes till they are wrinkled and charred. Sprinkle them with some olive of oil and a pinch of sea salt. Some may wish to add sweet or hot powdered paper, but purist don’t.
